I am Neif and I think i can help you with that. First, to run Windows XP on
your computer you will need at least a 512MB of Memory, 1.2GHZ Processor, and
A huge hardrive space at least 80GB. As much as we like to use windows, we
need to know that this software is not as simple as the tour shows.
Basic Solution:
1st, Clean your hardrive: Click My computer, then RIGHT click you are
hardrive and click DISK CLEANUP. This will actually clean your browser for
your and other area. It is like "shooting 3 bottles with one shot."
I need you to look at the right corner of your task bar, it tells you how
many programs starts with your System (Wind XP). Basically, the only program
you should have there are: Your Network if it is connected [two little
monitor flashing], and your Anti-Virus software. If there is anything else,
then you will need to remove it. To remove anything else beside the two that
i mentioned, you will need to right click on the software to see its menu and
look for either OPTION or PREFERENCES. Once you click on OPTION, you will
have to uncheck the menu that says something about "Icon in taskbar."
Defragment your computer:
Defragmenting your computer is like cleaning your house. You clean your
house when its dirty so does the defragmention option. It is not going to
rebuilt nor redo your computer but just increase its capicity and liabilty.
Remember, there is cleaning your room and renovate your room just as there is
defragmenting your computer and there is Upgrades.
To Defragment you PC:
Option 1
- Start Menu or Button; All Progams; Accessories; System Tools And
Disk Defragmenter.
Option 2
-Go To My Computer; Right click on your Hard Drive; Click the
Tools tab; click DEFRAGMENT NOW.
