Slow start up with XP

I formatted my computer today hoping it would solve a
slow start up problem I was having with Windows XP.
This, however, did not have any effect on the
problem...if anything it is worse now. Please if anyone
can help me figure out how to repair this I would LOVE to
hear from you. I already have the following....
ad-aware, spyware, firewall, virus protection...so if you
are thinking that any of these are a fix I have already
(e-mail address removed).
