Slow start-up on XP

As the topic says.

- The loading screen stays aprox 3-4 minutes on each load (was about 10
seconds when the PC was fresh). The PC gets slower over time ofc, but the
loading problem stays once WinXP Home is fully loaded aswell. - What can be
done about this?/What may cause this(-check up ways?)

If you keep adding software that doesn't need to start it/developer assumes
often that you want it to start with Windows instead of only when you need
it.

Go to Start/Run and type msconfig and click OK. See what all it says is
stating when you boot. You can uncheck some boxes in there if you know what
you're doing.
