Slow Scrolling

I have reinstalled windows XP recently, and ever since
scrolling through web pages or folders is very slow and
choppy, i am pretty sure it slows down my computer. Does
anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it? Thanks.
 
I would check to make sure you have the correct video drivers installed.
Whenever I install XP on my laptop (I redo it about every 6 months), I will
have the same symptoms you describe until I update the video driver. XP
Installs it's own driver and it won't necessary be the best one--go to your
video card manufacturer's site for the latest.
