Slow screensavers while running CPU Idle

The screensavers like the aquarium screensaver that comes with plus are
really slow when CPU Idle is running. The second that I shut this off, it
works normally. What can I do?
P.S. CPU Idle DOES make a difference. The second I turn it on, the temps
will drop about 5-10 C lower than without it.
 
forget about screen savers, you don't need them.
set your monitor to shut down in power options.
the time it waits before shut down is adjustable.
