slow restart on Win 2000

My restart on Windows 2000 takes a long time - Typically 2 minutes. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do?
 
Check your DNS is all OK , Ie nslookup check it can
resolve it name and the names of other.

Check the event log for whats going on.
