I'm having a problem with my computer's performance. It takes some time for
programs to start and run, when I'm on the internet it also takes a while to
open a website and I have a cable modem. I constantly scan and remove spyware
and adware from my computer. I'm thinking that I need another memory card to
solve my problem, since I only have one (256 mb). If anyone can help me with
my problem I would appreciate it. Thank you.

More ram is always your best upgrade for the money.
Minimum to boot is 128 (though ms says 64 is acceptable,
Ive never seen it happen lol). Also, have you tried
defragmenting the system? That might help.

What you could also do is run a spyware & adware detector program. These
bugs are know for slowing down systems.
