SLOW PERFORMANCE

I am running windows xp and my computer is running
extremely slow, programs tkae foreever to load and
generally extremely slow

Check your processes under task manager, nothing should
be running all that high of a number except for system
idle process. If system idle process is real low then
scroll back up through the list and find program that is
real high and end process. System idle process is at the
bottom of the processes page.
