Slow opening excel files

I have an excel file that is 10MB. On my laptop the file opens in a matter of
moments. On all my co-workers PC's, it takes about 3-5 min. The laptop and
PC's are equal in performance but for some reason the laptop opens the file
much faster. I cant figure out what setting is causing this to happen. Please
help????

Try deleting the files in the temp folder.

Close excel (and don't be installing any new software)
window start button|run
%temp%

is a quick way to get to that temp folder.
