slow loading

From a fresh install and fresh regular ntfs format after
installing spa1 and antivirus, my load time is unreal.
after all the programs have loaded the system runs
extremely fast, I have tried everything even going to to
msconfig. please help me out here, I just bought xp and
im now considering linux.

Check this site out for a possible cure.
Also be aware some antivirus software loads slow because
it is doing its job.....Good luck.
