Well, there could be several reasons why it is slow. How much memory do you have? Have you added any lately? Could be a conflict between types if you have. You may have too many programs running in the background. Check and see by doing control alt delete and look at processes and applications. Are there any other weird things happening? Strange things on the screen, or other colours could be a sign that your chip fan or power fan is not running or not running fast enough.

well ive got 34 processes runing currently um about the
memory i have alot of physical memory and when i used to
have games it had to expand my virtual memory like 5
times or so but i deleted the games so it should have
alot of memory. Nothing really weird has happened as far
as i know. I guess a fan could be out cause now that i
think about it the computer hasnt been as loud as it used
to be. i dont know im not fully computer smart
