slow ie connection after install of sp4

Just installed windows 2000 SP4 and my internet
connection has become incredibly slow - can't find any
site in fact. Any explanations ?

Method 1

Norton Internet Security 2001 has compatibility issues with SP4:

Method 2
=======
The problem may occur if some Incompatible TCP/IP Parameters exist:

1. Click Start, Click Run, type: Regedit

2. Expand the branch until you find the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

3. High-light the Parameters key, you will see data on the right pane:

4. Right-click the following items one by one and select delete in the
dropdown
menu:

¡¤ "Tcp1323Opts"
¡¤ "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize"
¡¤ "TcpWindowSize"
¡¤ "MTU""

5. Install SP4 again to see if the Internet Connection works normally.
