Slow down under Review Tab

Whenever I operate under the review tab, I have typing slow down. This is
particularly bad and annoying when adding comments. Since a large part of my
Word activity involves reviewing and making comments, this is extremely
bothersome. Is there a solution or has MS addressed this problem?

I guess I should add that I am using Word 2007 (although the use of "tab"
might have made that obvious).

Hi Kph,

I've seen this reported from time to time, but don't see a delay tied specifically to that tab when trying to reproduce it.

Are you using any add-ins such as EndNote?

Are you using tracked changes? If so what Tracking view are you using and are you displaying change/comment balloons?

Are your documents on a local drive or across a network?

If you start Word in Safe mode (hold ctrl key while starting Word) do you get the same slowdown?

Do you have Service Pack 1 for Office 2007 installed?
