I am running Windows XP Pro, with 4 logons(family and 3
kids). When I reboot the computer and go into 1 logon the
system is normal. However, as soon as I exit by 'switching
user' and someone else logs into theirs the computer slows
down. As an example it will take 1 minute to launch
Internet Explorer or Microsoft Outlook.
Any suggestions?

Thank you.

When you 'switch users' the first user's account is still active. If you
load more than one user account into RAM you should expect a decrease in
performance. Fast user switching was intended for those occasions when, for
example, you are on the computer and another user wants to quickly check
their e-mail and then get off the computer.

You should log off, which returns the computer to the Welcome screen, and
then let another use logon.
