Hi

My computer has been running very slowly the past two days. When I reboot, my computer hangs for several minutes. I thought that maybe I was running out of memory, and I knew that I had user accounts that are no longer needed. I went in to delete the extra account and there was an account I had never created. It says it's asp.net machine a ...
I don't know who this is or what it is. Could this be a trojan? I tried deleting my roommates account and my computer said it did, but the account still shows up. (I was logged on as administrator.) Is the speed of my computer related to this extra account, and how do I get rid of it? I don't remember downloading anything recently that may account for the extra user account.

alright, I now understand how the user account got onto my computer through: http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/aspdot.ph

but I still don't understand why my computer is SOOO slow. It takes about 5 minutes just to open a new application up and I can't have more than two applications up at one time (or it'll take 15 minutes to just switch screens)

can anyone help me free up my computer?
