When I boot WinXP the desktop comes on and displays all the icons. However,
it now takes another one or two minutes before I can open an application,
open email or connect to the internet. The hard disk light is very active
during this time period. It seems the computer is still continuing with the
boot process. I have turned off all start up items in msconfig with no
effect. Any suggestions?
