Sloooow Boot

This seems to be the best place to get advice on the more unusual
problems, so I am posting this here even though I already posted to
another group.

I just replaced a 40 GB hard drive "C" with WinXP installed with a 200
GB hard drive. Both HDs are Western Digital, WD400JB replaced with a
WD2000JB. I cloned the 200 GB from the 40 GB with Norton Ghost 2003,
then I had to do a repair installation before the 200 GB would boot.

Everything works OK, but it seems to take a long time to boot, one
minute and 50 seconds. The old 40 GB took about 45 seconds.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the boot? What process is likely
to be taking so long?

Thanks for any and all help.

Device manager? All devices are OK. The problem is a slooow boot. What
boot processes can cause a slooow boot?
