Sloooooow Logoff

Logoff takes forever and the event log is reporting event
id: 1517 and 1524. Saying that Something was trying to
be saved but an application is using the registry. I know
about services and msconfig, is there any other way to
look at running services to see under what account they
are running? Has anyone sen/fixed this problem?

Go into task manager and see what is running,then one at
a time end process to find what is causing the slow shut
down.You can also stop services in services the same
way.Be carefull what you stop...Good luck.

Skip;
Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK
One at a time, double click services that are not disabled | Log on tab | Tick: "Local System
account" | Apply | OK
There are some services where this will not be an option. i.e. Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
