SlipStreaming Problem

Guest

I am trying to slipstream XP Pro (SP2) using AutoStreamer to prepare for the
next Clean Install. My problem is Service Pack 2. My SP2 Disk cannot be
read by anything and the MS Update Site will not let me download SP2 because
it is already installed on my stand alone PC.

Here is my question: If I download the Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network
Installation Package for IT Professionals will I have any fatal problems
because I install on a Stand Alone PC?

If I face disaster how can I download the basic Service Pack 2?

The "IT" version is the same as any other. The warning is just that - a
warning.
Download and use it as you desire.

Are you trying to slipstream SP2 with a XP CD that already has SP2?

Direct download link to SP2:

Thank You Kurttrail,

No. What I was trying to say was that the MS Update will not make Service
Pack 2 available for download/update because when it looks at my system it
finds Service Pack 2 is already installed.
