Slideshow video freezes but audio continues

My wife created a slideshow of old family photographs for my mom's 85th
birthday along with some songs on an audio track. It plays fine in Movie
Maker but when it is "finished" in NTSB high quality format for burning on a
DVD (for distribution to my siblings) and I let it play in Windows media
player the video freezes while the audio track continues just as it does in
Movie Maker.

I've tried to render it several different times and it always freezes at a
different point, so I don't thing it is related to the photograph being
displayed at the time. The first failure occurred at a transition from one
song to another so I thought it was related to the songs involved, but as I
indicated above, it fails at different points every time I render it, so it
doesn't seem to be related to the music track.

My brothers/sister and mom are really anxious to get a copy of this "movie"
so I could really use some suggestions.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

I think you may need to create a new one after you try some different
players and it still has the same problem. A authoring tool is very
important for creating slideshow and burn on DVD. You can try other
applications to make a better one.
This website has severl tools which creates slideshows and burn on dvd.
Download one and have a free trial.

Hope it helps.
