Slideshow doesn't cycle in web page

Following is a question I posed to a Windows Media Newsgroup and they were not able to help. Suggested I was asking the wrong people so here I am again.

Question: "I am viewing a webpage which I know contains a slideshow (cycling snapshots) but only the lead photo is displayed. I assume something is not turned on, enabled, or perhaps even installed but I don't know what it is or how to find it. I had to reinstall my system several months ago, but only noticed this phenomenon recently

Any suggestions?

No idea until you give us a clue about what that slideshow is supposed to
do. Please give us an address to look at.
