Slides won't reset to slide master settings

I've created a slide master in 2007 with several different layouts. I have
adjusted the different levels so some are just paragraphs rather than
bullets. I have deleted the levels that I don't require.

When I reset the layout to a slide the paragraph spacing / indents / bullets
don't match the setting on the master.

Does anyone know why?
 
Hi Sarah,

Is your content on the slide in placeholders? It is placeholders that get
their information from the slide master regarding bullets, etc.
