Slide transitions

XP, with Office 2003, the slides in the show won't advance, I am playing
sounds also.
 
Delete the sounds that you have inserted on that slide and see if it advances
to the next slide.

If so, do a Ctrl-Z to undo, then go to Slide Show > Custom Animation.
Double click on the added sounds, set them to start playing "From last
position".
