Slide Transition

This happens occasionally when I use PowerPoint 2000. I load up the
presentation, select view show and as soon as I hit the first slide advance,
it advances through every slide at a rate of 15 or 20 per second and goes to
the end, ends the show and goes back to the main screen. If I try to use the
elevator and slide back to slide 1, it goes through all the slides fast in
the main screen. It continues to do this unless everything is shut down.

Is the "Automatically After" checked?
Click Slide Show > Slide Transition.
Under Automatically after, see if it is checked. If yes, uncheck it.
Click Apply to All.

Thanks for you quick response. I did check this and "advance on mouse click"
is checked." I set up the unit back at the office and had it on all day,
couldn't get it to malfunction. I wonder if it is a program problem and I
need to reinstall Office 2000.
