Slide Transition Problems (Repeated)

This is Jeremy. I am using Windows XP Home Edition SP2, Vers 2002;
Microsoft Office 2002 (Microsoft Office XP).

I have a problem on increasing the timing of automatic slide advance.
(I click 'Slide Sorter' in 'View', then right click a slide then click
'Slide Transition'. On the Task Pane, under 'Advance Slide', I check
'Automatically after' ...)

Problem in detail:
The main problem is that I cannot increase the timing of automatic
slide advance, the limit is only until 1 second (00:01). Although it is

only until 1 second, When I click 'Apply to All Slides', the time shown

under the slide is '00:00'.

How can I repair this? Please do not tell me to fix timings in
'Rehearsal', actually, I am able to do it, but it is very troublesome.
I have tried 'Detect & Repair', but to no avail. I have cleared all
viruses, spywares, adwares etc (but I found some spywares and adwares
only, I have cleared them), but still a failure. I restarted my
computer and tried the next day, but it is still the same.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Thanks for your help but still not working...
I went to 'Slide Show' and clicked 'Set Up Show', the 'Show Type is
selected as 'Presented by a speaker (full screen)'.

Thanks for your help too!
I knew what you are saying, you meant "Disabled items..." button
provided in the "About Microsoft PowerPoint" at "Help" menu. However,
there are no disabled items there.

Thanks for your help. But my main point is not about the rehearsal. If
you can find a solution for the problem above, reply to this message.

~Thanks a trillion to all of you!~

My main point was, are you using Rehearse Timings (the rehearsal)?

Also, in future, you should keep your followup information in the same
thread, even if you're replying to your original post with answers to
everyone as you did here.
