Slide template

I would like to create a slide template for my future presentation. The
template contains some simple objects, such as company logo, title box,
contents box, date, page no, etc. I have read the help file but it is not
easy to understand how to accomplish. Can someone tell a couple of steps to
create it and how to use it in a new presentation.

What your describing is your basic default Template. Without knowing your
version of PowerPoint it is difficult to really answer your question. You
can start by going into the Slide Master, placing your logo on the slide,
apply this to all slides. close the Slide Master, save your presentation as
a template file. You can then apply that template to any presentation you
start.
