Slide show won't change in PP

MY slide won't transidtion in power point, music plays, but slide won't
advance.

I'm sorry, running XP, with office 2003, the slide show won't advance on it's
own, yet when you advance manually the music starts over again with each
slide. Thank you.

Hi

Have you inserted the sound as a transition sound? Or on the master? Try
inserting the sound on the first slide then setting it to 'stop playing
after 999 slides' which can be found on the Effect tab of the sound's custom
animation dialogue (full instructions are in the link I sent).
