slide show view

I seem to have lost the slideshow view in my pictures folder and I can't get
it back. I am running Windows XP Home Edition. TIA
 
Hi,

To use slideshow, you must have folder options set to show common tasks -
you likely disabled this.

You have probably lost the hidden desktop.ini file from it. You can
make one with Notepad - replace <username> in the text below with the
exact User name of your account, as seen at
C:\Documents and settings\<username>

[DeleteOnCopy]
Owner=<username>
Personalized=39
PersonalizedName=My Pictures
[.ShellClassInfo]
[email protected],-12688
IconFile=%SystemRoot%\System32\mydocs.dll
IconIndex=-101
