Slide Show Sizing

Is it possible to have power point slides that are 11x17" and size them for a
slide show on the computer??? The 11x17" is the worst case size. Most are
8.5x11 landscape.

I tried doing it with a legal size and I didn't get it to work.

Any help??

Thanks,

PowerPoint will let you set the slides to pretty much any size you like.

When you print it lets you choose between printing everything on the slide at
the size it was created at, to whatever size paper you're printing to and if
that makes it too small or large, well, you're the human. You were supposed to
know these things. ;-)

But by default, it resizes the slide to fill the chosen paper size as best it
can w/o distorting the proportions of the slide.

It does much the same with screen shows: it fills the available screen as much
as possible w/o distorting the slide.

In your case, 11x17 isn't the same proportion as the usual 3x4 proportions of a
computer screen, so either the printout or the screen show will have some unused
area.
