Your second suggestion worked, thanks. The first, using AutoMovie, doesn't quite do what I want. MM2 seems to be analyzing the music clip to decide how to set up the spacing (and I tried all five options). I'd just like something simple: make each still the same length. I would also be happy with an option where I could select multiple slides in the timeline and resize all of them at once. Is there any way to do either of these things?
thanks,
Robert

Robert,
Maybe an AutoMovie would work great for your slideshow. Put your set of pix
and the music clip in a single collation, select the collection and then use
AutoMovie. It'll use the pix and align them with the audio track. Might even
be a better movie than one you would make yourself.
For the same transition between all, select all of the pix (storyboard view
might be easiest) using standard windows commands, then select the
transition and do a right mouse click on it.... and use 'Add to Timeline'
and it'll go onto all.
PapaJohn
durations will be automatically adjusted to fit the length of an audio
track? Further, can I apply the same transition between all slides at once?
