SLI required?

I have a GA-K8NXP-SLI and I'm currently using a ATI x550 video card. I
don't game, and don't need the SLI capability, but I'm wondering if I
can install a second PCI-Ex16 card for use with multi-monitoring or do
they have to be configured in SLI and outputting to a single monitor?

Yes if you want 2 graphic card then install 2 PCI E x16 and it will
make 2 card at 8x each -- before I bought new motherboard and looked
at K8NXP-9 and K8NXP-SLi and deicded to chose K8NXP-9 as I dont want
to use 2 card with SLi -- Im more than happy to use K8NXP-9 which is
great....

I dont need 2 graphic card also it cost too much money and I only just
need one card that still great -- Im quite confused the difference
price between K8NXP-9 and SLi as SLi cost is cheaper than the K8NXP-9
by about £7-£10
