Sleep not working - just cuts output to monitor

Dan

Hi-
I just installed Vista Ultimate (fresh install) on my desktop but sleep
isn't working for me. If I try to go into sleep mode the output to the
monitor is cut (it turns orange and the screen goes blank) but the computer
is still running normally. If I move and click the mouse button the monitor
comes back and everything is normal. I have tried unchecking the boxes on
the keyboard and mouse that let them resume the computer from standby but no
luck. I also have the latest drivers I can find. Both hibernate and sleep
worked fine under XP Pro. I do not know too much about sleep states, etc.
so if anyone could provide any suggestions or places to start looking that
would be great. Thanks!

have you tried new drivers?

I had the same problem too, I would try new drivers, but I am on a
laptop.
