Few things to think about here. Did your original CD have
a scratch on it? if no then it could be a memory issue,
when you play back the track are you doing anything else?
From experience when I open an application I get a
stuttering that lasts only a short while. If your hard
drive is particularly full it could be struggling so try a
defragment.
