skipping login screen in XP pro

how can I tell windows to skip the "to begin, choose
account" screen that comes up? I need to go directly
into windows.

system admin is only account on computer (guest is turned
off)

this will not be a networked computer, just a stand alone.

Try this:

From Start>Run type in

control userpasswords2

then uncheck 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' and click 'Apply'. On the next screen - 'Automatically Log On' - delete the name 'Administrator' from the User name box and enter your account name and then the password in the next two boxes. OK your way out and then reboot your system.

You should not use the hidden administrator account for everyday use. It is
intended as an admin account for fall back purposes if your user account is
in accesable or becomes currupt. Create a user account for yourself to use
and give it admin rights.

Auto-Logon:
Start, run, type in: control userpasswords2, hit enter.

Uncheck: users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Xp will then ask you to enter the user and password you want to auto-logon
to.
Or
Download and install tweakui for xp and use its auto-logon feature.
