Skipping Audio & Video

I captured some video from my camcorder and created a movie with video clips
only (no photos). In attempting to create a movie that can be burned to a
DVD (DV-AVI), the video and audio skip.

Any ideas?

captured lots of clips. how can I convert clips to many avi-s in one step?

Movie Maker doesn't have such a feature... you need to do them one at a
time.
