skip holidays in creating new appointments

Hello, group. I'm a first-timer. I wonder if anyone can tell me how to get
my appointments to skip holidays. Now, for example, I put in my tutoring
appointments (average 5 / day, Mon-Fri), but I have to end the recurring
appointment on Dec. 24 and create a NEW RECURRING APPOINTMENT on Dec. 26!
This is the only way my students can see online that they have no class
Christmas Day. This is true for ALL holidays. Is there a way to make any or
all recurring appointments SKIP holidays? Is there an add-in / add-on /
upgrade or whatever? I don't mind buying something extra as this is a
time-consuming process. Thanks, group! (I have Windows Server 2003
Enterprise and Office Small Business Edition 2003.)
