Sizing

Hi, a friend 'helpfully' adjusted the sizes on my screen so that I can view
more of the page without scrolling. Everything is tiny though & the web pages
dont fill the window. I have tried changing text size but cant get the page
to view in the whole of the page space & its really annoying me! How can I
get it back to how it was?

Hi,
Try changing the screen resolution from Start> Settings> Control Panel>
Display> Settings> Screen resolution. I'll bet you were running 800 x 600
and it's now 1024 x 768, or even larger (just guessing.)

Hope this helps,

Hi, Ive tried that thanks but still no good. I had a look & is on 1024 x 768
but when I tried changing to 800 x 600 then everything looked huge, much
bigger than how I origionally had it. Any more suggestions I can try please?

Hi,
1. Try a different text size from IE> View> Text size.
2. Display Properties> Settings> Advanced, try a DPI setting of 96.

Hi, Don

You were right the first time! My web pages now view fine but I had been
fiddling around in the apperance tab in the display box before to make icons
& things bigger already so thats why some things looked so big when I changed
the resolution back but I have changed them back again & is now all fine.
Many thanks.
