Sized of numbers in slides

When I type in a numbered list, I find that I can easily change the
font size of the text (and that the corresponding number will also
change in size). But the default size that Powerpoint 2007 assigns the
list numbers is much too small for my liking, and I'd like to change
not the font size of the text, but only of the numbers along the left.
How can I do this--either simply change the size of the numbers, or
better, make powerpoint give a larger font size to list numbers by
default?

? I thought this thread was about the size of numbers. The one you're
linking to is about hyperlinks. I'm confused.

You can change the size of a bullet, which is what a numbered list is,
really -- a bulleted list.

So, type in your text, select the placeholder or textbox and click the arrow
beside the Numbering button on the Home tab of the Ribbon. Choose Bullets
and Numbering at the bottom. Then increase the size, which is relative to
the font size and will increase or decrease accordingly as you increase or
decrease the text size.

Thanks, Echo.
Yeah I was confused. Last night I cross-posted into two newsgroups,
but I obviuosly forgot which newsgroup got that second, identical
post.. Thanks for posting the solution, as it worked.

Funny--all the other numbered lists were of an appropriate size. Not
sure how this got smaller, but your solution worked. Much obliged.
