size of type on powerpoint slides

I have prepared a presentation on Powerpoint 2003 and on several slides, the
type font I used was size 20 font. When the slides come up for viewing, they
are at 30 font and even though I change the font and resave the presentation,
they revert back to 30 when i re-open the file. what can i do to change
this. at 30, the text falls below the slide itself and some important
information is missing.
