Size of the icons in folders in Outlook 2007

Is it possible to resize the "icons" in the folders. My opinion is that they
are very big and blury in the folders, at least compared with the icons for
mail in the inbox for instance. I also think the headlines in the folders are
written with a very large fontsize. Does anybody know if it is possible to
resize those things?
(I hope you understand what I mean, even if my english might not be correct)

No, you can't resize them or the text from within outlook.

You can control the text to some degree by changing your windows theme
settings, but it will apply to many other usages too. Lower screen
resolution will make the icons look bad, especially if you are using
800x600.
