Hello Friends,
can i hide the actual size of a file.......such that

500MB file size--------------- > will show my desired size say 5Kb

such that cant be detected during search process , when searched for
..

I am assuming, bad thing to do, that you are using windows xp, sp 2, so , go
to windows explorer, I don't know where it is on your start menu, mine is in
accessories, so go there and double click it, when the windows explorer
opens, at the top go to tools, click it and go to folder options, click the
view tab and look down the list, not far from the top that says Display file
size information in folder tips...Uncheck this item..I.m don't think you need
to re-boot for it to take effect...

File size isn't something you can fudge in Windows. Mind explaining just why
you want to do this?

When you run Search open "What is file size?" and check "Specify size in KB"
and select "At least", then enter 512000 (1024*500) for the amount.
