Vista Ultimate explorer window is too small for me. I have to resize it
larger each time I explore a folder. How do I get it to open in the larger
size with the fields as wide as when I last closed it? Folder options does
not affect this.

Hi, Scott.

Open the Explorer window, resize it to suit yourself, then hold the Shift
key as you click the Close button.

Another way is to right-click on the shortcut, then click Properties. In
the Run box, choose Maximized from the drop-down menu.

Of course, if you maximize the window, then resize it and close it, the new
size will probably be remembered and you'll need to do all this again.
