SIZE LIMIT TO ATTACHMENTS??

Could someone tell me if in Outlook 2007 there is a limit to the size of
attachments that I can upload. For sometime now, Outlook seems to choke on
anything but the smallest of attachments. Anything even close to a half a
meg seems to stall. I also use AVG professional as an email scanner. I am at
my wits end trying to figure this out. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
I have continued to try and attach some PDF files smaller than one meg with
no success

Outlook isn't what limits the size of your outbound e-mails. That is
determined by anti-abuse quotas for your *personal* account with your
unidentified e-mail provider. Ask them.

if the attachments are small, the problem is AVG's scanning of the email.
It's not necessary anyway. Large attachments are often bocked by mail
servers - you can usually send at least 1 - 2 MEG, if not much larger before
the ISP blocks.
