Size limit discrepencies

I'm having some problems with a user in outlook. If I go into her
outlook today properties and check folder sizes I see the total is over
40,000KB (this is the outlook size limit set by powers much greater
than I). The problem is all of the folders listed below barely add up
to 500K. All of her deleted items are cleared, all of her sent items
have been cleared, and she has cleared out her archive as well. I even
checked to make sure the Journal had been disabled, which it was.
There is absolutely nothing in her outlook box that could possibly add
up to the size it is giving her. Unfortunately it is telling her that
she is over her size limit and can't send any emails so this is an
urgent matter. I've been beating my head against this wall for a week
on this issue and haven't moved from square one. Any help on this
would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind on the help guys I found the problem. If you right click on
Outlook today and select advanced find, you can find everything that is
hidden. There was an odd folder called "Top of Information Store" that
had a ton of items that she thought she deleted, but ended up in that
hidden folder somehow. Also there were a few items in her sent folder
and deleted items that somehow got hidden as well and weren't getting
cleared out. If anyone has this problem, please use the advanced find
and search for anything that may have gotten hidden in your mailboxes.

It's not really a hidden folder, it's the top level of the mailbox or PST.
Viewing Outlook Today overlays the view of the contents of that folder.
Right-click the root of the information store (the top level of the mailbox
or PST) and choose Properties. Click the Home Page tab and uncheck "Show
home page by default for this folder". Click OK. Now select the top level
and you'll see all it contains.
