Sites load terribly slow

Dear Windowers,

I have a Windows XP laptop, but some sites load very slow. Some sites, even
official from Microsoft, like Hotmail or support.microsoft.com or
windowsupdate.com, load very slow. While some others work
without problem.

Also, I installed Spybot to protect my registry from illegally being
alterted but now it keeps bugging me with warning. Even ones from the Hotmail
site seems to want to donwload "Double Click" and "Avanue A, Inc"

Does anyone know what might causes these problems, and what to do about them?

Have Spybot set to block pages silently and you won't get the warnings.

Try the following and see if it helps. Even if you have already run some
programs, run them again according to the instructions in the information
below to thoroughly clean you system. Some variants of malware can
replicate itself and return repeatedly if not cleaned properly. It is best
to read through all the information before you start to know before hand
what you need to do and how. Follow all instructions to letter as much as
possible.

WARNING>>>> Backup all documents and files before removing any spyware!!

First., download and install BHODemon from

Your problem may be caused by a bad BHO.

Dear Rick and Jan,

thank you for your reply.

First Rick, I do not know how to have Spybot silently block the warnings.

Second Jan, I do not believe my computer has been infected, so I have not
tried all your many instructions with downloading all sorts of files/apps.

I do noticed these couple of days that some of the sites do load when I
close all MS IE windows and than re-open one and paste the website link to
open the site. Often it then opens, but do not allways show all sub-pages
properly. I need to repeat my close IE windows and re-open procedure to have
it working.

Does anyone knows what the problem is?
