Sites aren't displaying some content

I've noticed that some websites aren't displaying their full content
on my IE6-equipped XP system, while these same websites display
normally on my IE5-equipped Win98 laptop.

Examples: on the IE6 system, http://www.rueckertadvertising.com only
displays a small yellow box saying "The Latest Scoop" and giving the
date; on the bottom, there's a warning about needing Flash 6 (which I
do have installed). On my Win98 IE5 system, the site displays
normally, with a large bar with links and other content.

On the XP IE6 system, http//www.hasbro.com displays no graphics on the
insides of the yellow "Toys" and "Games" boxes; there are graphics
visible in these boxes on the Win98 IE5 system.

What's worse, I've tried loading Netscape on the XP system and I get
the same (incorrect) results on these websites.

What could explain this?

Many thanks for any assistance,
Josh

Hi,
It sounds like another program is blocking active content such as Flash.
Take a look at the settings of your firewall, anti-virus, pop-up blockers,
spyware blockers and other security-type programs. Changing settings may be
enough, or you may have to reinstall a program.

Hope this helps,
Don
