site statistics

Please - can anyone help?

I am trying to gather site usage statistics by using frontpage extensions.
Frontpage extensions are installed on my ISP (Streamline.net) who host the
web site.

I have created a blank page and inserted a list from the top 10 from "web
component/component type/top 10.

I have stored this in the private folder on my web site and published the
page.

No statistics are being gathered - is there something else I need to do - I
can't seem to find the answer in any of my text books or google etc.
