Can anybody tell me how to create a site map? Is there a function in
FrontPage that creates it automatically?

The closest is the Table of Contents
(or if you assign categories to all pages you can use Category webbot)
Insert Web Component to see them both

The TOC will list every single page in your website including ones you may
not want listed. You have more control over the categories function, but you
can get errors with it, especially if you rename a file. FP help will tell
you how to do it. But I finally gave up on both of them, and I maintain my
site map by hand. It's not much trouble, and I get exactly what I want.
Generally, you get better results doing something by hand than by using an
automated function.

The TOC can be a time saver. After running it, view the page in IE, then File Menu | Save As, HTML
Only, to your desk, import into FP, remove the links you don't want, etc.

Did you save the TOC page from IE using the Save As, HTML only and then import it back into FP?

Help.... I did as instructed below. When I import the .html file to FP, it opens to the "web

component" view and only shows the standard 3 bullet list of "Title of a Page" links. When I view
the TOC in a web browser and print it out, there are 7 pages (legal size). It would be a big help
to be able to edit many of the pages out. Thanks!

Yes, I did... several times (. I am trying to clean-up and reorganize our existing web site so I am working from a copy on my computer. Does it make a difference by not being "live"? I am using XP2003. Thanks for the quick response.

No, it shouldn't make any difference working locally vs. live.
