What is Site Advisor, and why does it repeatedly give a message saying "Site
Advisor has encountered a problem and needs to close", etc. The McAfee logo
is displayed within.
 
SiteAdvisor is an add on that grades web site safety according to stats it
gathers. The problem you're having is more than likely a technical glitch
their end, although it could easily be something else [?]. I've used it for a
long time and rate it highly.

Hi,
It is an extra program comes with McAfee, it is equivalent to Phishing
Filter on IE7 but more robust.
It gather Info about the Sites and if it think you are visiting a fraudulent
Site or a hacker site it will alert you or Block the access to that
particular site and give statistic why you can't access this site.
You can uninstall it and reinstall it if it corrupted or damaged, also make
sure your system malware free and virus free by running a scan from McAfee
online.
