Can someone please give a working download link for the latest version
(1.6). Many sites still carry 1.5 and I can't download from a number
of other sites for one reason or another.

Siren is a very nice renamer for all file types. Be sure to read
through BOTH its help and FAQ, which explain some non-obvious tricks
for power users.

True. And don't forget Examples in the ?-menu. It's very helpful.

<lots of snippage...>

This is the greatest rename utility I've yet to find. I was quite
surprised it was not on pricelessware's list. It should be.

I only found it recently myself, so it was too late to nominate it.
Maybe next year?
